 Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see in Tanzania. Located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the 600 flats walls of the crater floor are home to a large number of wildlife, making it one of the best game viewing spots in Africa. With breathtaking views of rolling savannah grasslands, diverse vegetation and a wealth of wildlife, Ngorongoro is an unforgettable safari destination.

The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is often referred to as 'The Eighth Wonder of the World'. Covering an area of 264 square kilometres, the crater floor is packed with a wide variety of wildlife, including rhino, hyena, elephants, zebra, lions and leopards. Often referred to as the 'African Garden of Eden', the crater floor is home to Maasai and herders, providing an insight into traditional lifestyles. These semi-nomadic tribes rely heavily on the plentiful wildlife of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for both their survival and rituals, making the experience even more fascinating.
